Women's Lacrosse: Career Goals Update

If the season is over (and if she's not returning for her grad year), senior attacker Ashlyn Fraley will finish up a 71-game Young Harris career with 136 goals, the fifth-most in Mountain Lion women's lacrosse history. Only Nicole Kernohan, Kendra Parenteau, Taylor Greenberg and Ella Hancock have scored more.   *It's worth noting, however, that Fraley is the only person in the top five in terms of goals to need less than 200 shots on goal to get her goals- she only need 199 shots on target, so she scored on an impressive 68% of her shots on frame.

Women's Lacrosse: Career Draw Controls Updates

Junior Mary Troyer currently has 184 in her 56-game career- the fourth-most in team history. Third is currently held by Rachel Lepine with 196, while second is currently held by Meghan Tonnessen with 236. Sophomore Hayden Hennessey currently has 44 in her 27-game career. If the current season is over, she'll head into her junior season tied for nineteenth in team history with Kaylynn Roach. Eighteenth is currently held by Maddie Peek with 49.

Women's Lacrosse- Career Saves

Senior goalie Abbie Gallagher is now fifth in team history with 216 saves, moving past Carter Moore's 205. The fourth-best mark is currently held by Sarah Nudelman with 228.

Women's Lacrosse Notes

Junior defender Ella Clifford appeared in her fortieth career game Wednesday against Southern Wesleyan.  I erred in a recent blog post where I said that Ashlyn Fraley is fourth with 126 goals. Fraley is currently fifth and fourth as of now is Ella Hancock with 139. Mary Troyer has 151 draw controls, which is currently sixth all-time. Fifth is Mary Deatrick with 158 and fourth is Kinsley Purser with 161.
