Both Tennis teams will host the season-opening YHC Invite this weekend, starting Friday and concluding on Monday. The Volleyball team will have a busy weekend- after their conference opener Friday at Erskine, they will have their home opener on Saturday against Emmanuel.  The Soccer  teams will have a doubleheader on Saturday against Emmanuel- the women kick off at 4 and the men kick off at 7.   Both Cross Country teams will be at the Converse Kickoff on Saturday. The Milliken Research Park will also host the Conference Carolinas and Southeast Regional meets.  Men's Golf will open their season at the King University Invitational, starting Monday and then finishing out on Tuesday. The Women's Golf team will also be in Bristol, but it will be their second contest of the fall. 

Senior McKenna Peaster has now logged thirty-eight games in goal after the Clayton State encounter. Pien Van Kampen is the current NCAA-era career record holder with 43 appearances. 

Senior defender Morgan Kasel has officially surpassed 5,000 minutes (eighty-three hours) after Wednesday's encounter at Clayton State and has 5,083 through 58 games. Her 5,083 minutes is currently seventh-best across all sports, with only six alumni in front of her: defender Jonas Sturesson, forward Ilija Ilic, forward Khurram Shazad, midfielder Val Feeney, defender Macauley King and midfielder Lewis Hilton. 

Heading into today's game at North Georgia, there are two records to keep an eye on: 1. Senior defender Morgan Kasel has 56 games under her belt heading into today's game (and surpassed 4900 minutes after the Trevecca Nazarene game on Saturday). Sydney Baird, with 63 games, is the current NCAA-era record holder.  2. Senior McKenna Peaster appeared in her thirty-fifth game in goal on Saturday. Pien Van Kampen currently holds the goalie games played record having appeared forty-three times. 

Senior McKenna Peaster logged her thirty-fourth appearance against Mars Hill. Pien Van Kampen currently holds top spot with 43 appearances.  Peaster also surpassed the 2700-minute mark and currently has 2,747. Van Kampen has 3,833. 

For senior defender Morgan Kasel , her ninety minutes against Mars Hill in the season opener (her fifty-fifth game for the Mountain Lions) gives her 4,825 minutes for her career, which as of now is ninth across all sports at Young Harris. Eighth currently is Paco Craig, who logged 4,876 minutes in his career.
