Women's Tennis: Dual singles wins heading into the spring season

Heading into their spring dual opener February 4th at Lincoln Memorial, where do current members of the roster stand in terms of dual singles victories?   Through twenty-one dual matches in her career, sophomore Emily Bush tallied sixteen victories.   Freshman Viviana Gomez recorded her first career dual singles win for the Mountain Lions in October.  Junior Meghna Mallath has won fourteen dual singles matches.  Senior Catarina Marcko Ferreira has won seventeen dual singles matches.  Sophomore Simone Mercier has won eleven. 

Women's Golf: Spring Schedule

The women's golfers will open their spring season March 11th and 12th at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina- the site of the Conference Carolinas Championship- for the Converse Spring Invite.  March 18th and 19th will see them at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, Tennessee for the Agnes McAmis Memorial hosted by Tusculum College.  They will then be back in South Carolina- this time in Greenwood- March 25th and 26th at the Greenwood Country Club for Lander's Lady Bearcat Invitational.  Their final regular-season contest will be April 8th and 9th back in South Carolina- this time in Travelers Rest- for the Cherokee Valley Spring Bash hosted by North Greenville. 

Women's Basketball Update from Saturday

Junior JaMari Frederick appeared in her fortieth game for the Mountain Lions despite the loss. With her team-leading twenty points, she's now over 400 for her career and currently sits at 407. 

Men's Golf: Spring Schedule

The men's golfers will open their spring season March 4th and 5th in Greenwood, South Carolina at the Bearcat Classic.  March 18th and 19th will see them in-state at the Barnsley Resort in Adairsville for the Battle at Barnsley hosted by Shorter. March 25th and 26th will see them back in South Carolina, but this time at the Oldfield Club in Okatie for the Oldfield Classic.  The regular season will wrap up April 15th and 16th at the Music City Invitational in Old Hickory, Tennessee. 

Men's Basketball Updates after Wednesday

Sophomore Carl Cleveland appeared in his forty-fifth career game and added his thirty-fifth career start.  He's also over 600 points with his 33-point outing and has notched 602 for his career.  *With 674 points, Bjorn Walker is currently fifteenth in that category.

Basketball Updates

Junior JaMari Frederick is now into the top five on the women's side for career three-pointers, as she's recorded 71 over her 38-game career. The previous fifth-best mark was held by Sara Jorgensen, who drilled 66 in her career.  Senior Trinity Edwards tallied the thirty-fifth game of her career on Saturday.  For the men, sophomore Carl Cleveland , after missing 2022-23 as a redshirt, jumped right back into the swing of things to start this current season, starting all eight of his appearances and recording a solid 15.3 points per game. So far for his career, he's tallied 44 games, 34 starts and 569 points.
