The first two members of the 6,000-Minutes Club

Which Young Harris athletes have recorded 6,000 minutes (100 hours) in a Mountain Lion uniform?  At the moment, there's only two, both in soccer: Lewis Hilton , who appeared 80 times between 2012 and 2015, has tallied 6,522 minutes.  Macauley King , who appeared 75 times between 2015 and 2018, has tallied 6,034 minutes.   

Men's Lacrosse Update: Starts in Goal

Junior goalie Dylan Wilbur has started 33 games in goal in his Mountain Lion career. He's one away from tying Mason King's program record and can become the first goalie in Young Harris men's lacrosse history to start forty games. 

Men's Lacrosse Update: Goalie Minutes Played

Junior Dylan Wilbur now has 1,850 minutes (or thirty hours in goal) in his career, which is currently second all-time. The current program record is 1,996 minutes, which is held by Mason King. 

Men's Soccer Update: Goalie Games Played

Men's Basketball Career Points Update

Sophomore Carl Cleveland surpassed the 900-point barrier for his career and currently has 916.  Junior Karl Chavis , now with 80 games for the Mountain Lions, currently has 1,158 points. He needs 89 points to move into third in the men's NCCA-era history. 

Women's Basketball: Career Free Throws Update

Senior Dustie Obah has tallied 108 free throws in her 54-game career. Tenth on the list is Kaycee Cash with 111 and ninth on the list is Jenny Vernet with 115. 

Women's Basketball: Career Minutes Update

Junior JaMari Frederick moved up the top fifteen for career minutes. Now with 1,639 minutes in 56 contests, she's fourteenth on the list. Kaycee Cash is currently thirteenth with 1,664.  Sophomore Lily Griffith tallied her fifty-fifth appearance on Saturday and now has 1,361 minutes. 

Women's Basketball: Career Minutes Update

Trinity Edwards has 1,442 minutes in 51 games. Dustie Obah has 1,070 minutes in 53 games.  Magdalene Adebanjo has appeared 69 times but has just 691 minutes. 

Basketball Updates

Men: With 898 points, Carl Cleveland is now the sixth-best scorer in the program's NCAA era. Karl Chavis, meanwhile, is just sixty from reaching the 1200-point milestone for his career.  Women: Junior JaMari Frederick has now appeared in fifty-five games, and her 535 points means she's eighteen shy of fifteenth-most in the team record books.

Women's Lacrosse Updates

Junior goalie Abbie Gallagher is thirty minutes away from 600 for her career- at 570 minutes, she's spent the equivalent of nine-and-a-half hours protecting the Mountain Lion goal.  Senior defender Gwenyth Gibbons has now appeared in sixty games, while classmate Ella Hancock now has ninety goals.

Women's Basketball Assists Update

JaMari Frederick has now handed out 102 assists in her 54-game career, which is now fourteenth all-time. Thirteenth is Bria Clemmons with 106.  Fifteenth, meanwhile, moves from 97 to 98.

Men's Basketball Updates

Carl Cleveland has 879 points in 61 games, which is now the eighth-best mark in the team's NCAA-era history. Vince Martin is currently seventh with 880 and Malcolm Jackson is currently sixth with 888.  Karl Chavis picked up a milestone of his own yesterday, as he appeared in the starting lineup for the seventy-fifth time in his career, extending his fifth-best mark. Fourth on the list is Frank Adams with 78.

Men's Basketball Milestones after Wednesday (Feb. 14)

Karl Chavis tallied his 1100th career point and currently has 1,112 in his career. Eden Davis tallied game number seventy.  Carl Cleveland reached three milestones- game number sixty, start number fifty and his first 400-point season. With 851 points, he's currently ninth in the program's NCAA-era. Eighth is Brian Harper with 872.

Sophomore Carl Cleveland has 835 points in 59 games entering Wednesday's game at Southern Wesleyan. Bryson Robertson, with 836 points, is tenth and JB Charles, with 848 points, is ninth.

Kylie Ferguson Career Records Watch

Her start against Anderson-SC in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader was the fiftieth of her career, extending her fifth-place mark (fourth is Katie-Jo Gentry with 53).  She now has 54 appearances in the circle, one shy of tying Sam Davis for seventh.  She's moving up in career strikeouts- her 119 is ninth in the NCAA-era list. Victoria Sink, with 112, drops to tenth.

Weekend Update

Women's Basketball Junior guard JaMari Frederick appeared in her fiftieth game on Saturday. She also now has 95 assists (Eryn Cochran, with 97, is fifteenth in team history) and 1,450 minutes (new fifteenth-best mark).   Baseball Steven Spell is a member of the 100-runs scored club. He has 102 in 112 games.  Women's Lacrosse Senior midfielder Ella Hancock's first goal of Saturday's game was the eightieth of her career and her fourth and final goal of the game was the eighty-third of her career, surpassing Hayley Bartlett for tenth in team history. Ninth on the list is Anna Luckie with 87.  Junior goalie Abbie Gallagher surpassed 500 minutes for her career after appearing in the first half of the season opener- she currently has 513. Freshman Alyssa Rosenfeld recorded the first thirty minutes of her Mountain Lion career. 

Softball Career Strikeouts Watch

Junior left-hander Kylie Ferguson had just two strikeouts in the season opener, but she now has 110 for her career, extending her tenth-best mark. Ninth on the list is Victoria Sink with 112.  *She also has 52 appearances and 48 starts in the circle, extending her respective eighth- and fifth-best marks.

Assists   Fifteenth on the list is Eryn Cochran with 97. JaMari Frederick has 93 in her 49-game career.  Blocks Tenth on the list is Pamela Diokpara with 17. Senior Trinity Edwards has 12 in her 45-game career.  Steals Edwards has tallied 58 thefts in her career.  The tenth-best mark- shared by two people- is 81. 

Women's Lacrosse Records Watch: Offense

Saturday marks the start of the new campaign, so let's look at where some current members of the team stand in terms of career marks.  Points Senior midfielder Ella Hancock has 141 points on 79 goals and 62 assists, which is currently seventh all-time. Sixth is Anna Luckie with 146 points. Classmate midfielder Kinsley Purser is fourteen points away from tying the tenth-best mark. She has 110 points and tenth all-time is 124.  Goals Hancock's 79 goals are twelfth all-time. Eleventh is Mary Deatrick with 81 and tenth is Hayley Bartlett with 82.  Assists With 62 helpers, Hancock is three away from surpassing Sarah Bialecki for third (Bialecki handed out 64 over her career). Purser is currently seventh with 52 and fellow senior midfielder Belle Hardwick is eighth with 43.
