Career Record TIED!!!

Senior defender Morgan Kasel appeared in her sixty-third game on Saturday against UNC Pembroke to tie the NCAA-era career record for women's soccer. Heading into Tuesday's game, she's tied with alum Sydney Baird, who recorded her sixty-three games between 2013 and 2016.

Checking in on the Alums

The next competition for Emily Bush and the North Georgia women's tennis team will actually be the UNG/YHC Hidden Duals, taking place Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th of this month at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.  *Interestingly enough, this will also be an Enchanted Valley return for another former Mountain Lion- Rodrigo Mendoza is now a graduate assistant for the Nighthawk women after four seasons (2020-4) with Young Harris.  The next competition for Luciana Bejarano and the Augusta women's tennis team will be two matches against Lander, next Friday (the 11th) and Saturday (the 12th) in Greenwood, South Carolina.  The next competition for Alexis Scarpinato and the Mercer women's soccer team will be Sunday at home against Virginia Military (2pm at Betts Stadium).

Mountain Lion Alumni

In a previous post, I mentioned that Emily Bush is now on the North Georgia tennis team and that Luciana Bejarano is now on the Augusta tennis team. There's a third former Mountain Lion, this one from the soccer team, as Alexis Scarpinato is now a senior at Mercer. Through eleven games and 256 minutes for the Bears, Alexis has tallied two goals and an assist for five points.  *Alexis logged 3,495 minutes across forty-three games and her twenty-three goals is the NCAA-era women's soccer top mark for YHC.
