Senior right-hander Sam Davis recorded her fifty-fifth career appearance during the Peach Belt semifinal loss against North Georgia, solidifying her hold on the sixth spot in the program's NCAA era. Only Louisa Disi, Katie-Jo Gentry, Jeannie Perrucci, Nikkie Kovalsky and Darby Stanford have appeared more times in the circle since 2011.
In terms of all-sport appearances at Young Harris, she joins Julia Darroch (55 appearances for lacrosse), Sarah Garner (55 appearances for basketball) and Seba Andreassen (55 appearances for soccer)
Junior outfielder Rome Wallace has connected on 23 career round-trippers and needs just three more to move into fifth place on the NCAA-era list. Senior catcher/infielder Jackson Jones has connected on 33 for his career.
Jones has 217 hits in his career and needs just two more to move past Trey Rogers into third since 2011. Senior outfielder Logan Worley is currently fifth with 212.
Senior infielder Noah Fitzgerald has scored 92 runs in his career, which means he needs just three runs to surpass Mike Medori and Tyler Washington for thirteenth since 2011.
Senior right-hander McLain Harris' 100th appearance over the weekend is notable for a couple of reasons:
1. He's the first baseball pitcher to hit that mark since starting the NCAA era in 2011.
2. In terms of appearances across all sports, he's tied with women's basketball alumnus Lauren Smith
3. He joins a group of YHC student-athletes that have appeared 100 or more times, which includes Darby Stanford, CJ Wilson, Bjorn Walker, Shereese Williams, Jada Williams, Kaycee Cash, Keta Robinette, Briana Bell and Smith.
