Senior Spotlight: Sam Davis

Note: Due to the extra year of eligibility given to all student-athletes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm not saying "ends his/her career with". I'm just highlighting their career stats thus far in case they choose not to return next season.

And the first installment highlights softball's own Sam Davis, a right-handed pitcher from Rome who joined the Mountain Lions from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
She's won 18 games.
Her six saves is the second-best mark since 2011- only Nikkie Kovalsky, with seven, has more.
Her 55 appearances in the circle means that just five pitchers since 2011 have appeared more- Darby Stanford, Kovalsky, Jeannie Perrucci, Katie-Jo Gentry and Louisa Disi.
She's started 31 of 55 appearances with 10 complete games.
She's struck out 188 batters in 186 and 2/3 innings.
Her 75 strikeouts looking is third-most since 2011.
She's induced 230 fly-outs and 124 ground-outs against 190 hits.
And she has an impressive strikeout-to-walk ratio of about 5 to 2.
