Can Mackenzie Johnson break the season scoring record?

Entering the season
First place is Ladondra Johnson's 498-point season from 2013.
Second place is Meredith Tarver's 433-point season from 2016.
Third place is Ladondra Johnson's 431-point season from 2011.
New fourth place: Mackenzie Johnson with 391 points (2022-23).
Fourth place is Niaya White's 385-point season from 2019.
Fifth place is Mackenzie Johnson's 364-points-in-27-games from last season.

So far, Mackenzie has 391 points through 22 games at a scorching 17.8 clip, which means she replaces her own fifth-best mark from last season with the new fourth-place mark so far this season (dropping Niaya White's 385-point season to fifth).

There are four more guaranteed games to finish out the regular season.
Third place is within reach- Johnson needs just 41 points to surpass Johnson's 2011 mark.
By that same logic, second place is also within reach as she needs just 43 points in four games.
The 498 points, however, is probably safe- Johnson would need 108 points in the rest of the season to set a new single-season record. Assuming the remainder of the season is just four games, she would need to average ten points more than her current season average the rest of the way.
