Softball Record Books Updates

Senior Jill Dixon and sophomore Kylie Ferguson were the two pitchers in the Sunday game against Flagler (Mar. 5). Kylie was the opening pitcher and collected her 33rd appearance and thirtieth career start in the circle.
*Ferguson extends her eighth-best mark with start number thirty; meanwhile, Dixon's 36 career starts are sixth-best, with only Louisa Disi, Katie-Jo Gentry, Nikkie Kovalsky, Jeanie Perrucci and Darby Stanford ahead of her.
Dixon was the second of two pitchers in what was her 63rd pitching appearance, extending her fifth-best mark. Fourth on the list is Katie-Jo Gentry with 75.
Jill Dixon picked up her second win of the season and twentieth of her career, moving past Rosbrugh and into fifth all-time in that category. Only Rosbrugh (fourth with 22), Perrucci (32), Kovalsky (54) and Stanford (65) have more.
Jill is also within striking distance of fifth on the innings pitched list. She currently has 219 and Disi, with 223 and 1/3, is one spot ahead. Ferguson, meanwhile, now has 137 and 1/3, which moves her from thirteenth to ninth. Eighth on the list is Rosbrugh with 183 and 1/3.
Ferguson's 71 strikeouts places her inside the top fifteen where she's currently thirteenth. Twelfth on the list is alumnus Haylie Shope with 83. Dixon, meanwhile, extends her hold on seventh as she now has 178.
