The Wednesday Recap (March 8th)
Softball
1. Sophomore Kylie Ferguson picked up the complete-game win in the opener, her fourth of the season and thirteenth of her career. It was also her thirty-fourth pitching appearance, tying Haylie Shope for eleventh. She needs just two to move into the NCAA-era top ten.
1. Junior Ella Hancock tallied her sixtieth career goal. She now has 61 with her two-goal outing and her lone assist was her forty-eighth, extending her sixth-best mark. In terms of career goals, Katie McNutt is fourteenth with 63 and Kaylynn Roach is thirteenth with 64. Her 109 points is currently tied with Maddie Peek for thirteenth-most.
2. Classmate Gwenyth Gibbons appeared in her forty-seventh game, tying Taylor Lincoln for seventeenth. Sixteenth on the list is Breanna Farmer with 48 appearances.
