News and Notes from Tuesday, April 18th

The women's tennis team fell 4-3 against Augusta to conclude their regular season but there were several milestones in terms of competitive dual match appearances, including sophomore Yureni Gomez tallying her twenty-fifth and classmate Louise Ratiu notching her fortieth. Junior Catarina Marcko Ferreira, however, tallied her sixtieth competitive dual match appearance, moving past alumni Maria Puerta and Laura Sanchez into the fifth-best spot since 2015-16. Only Ana Rodriguez, Elin Rundcrantz, Carol Quevedo and Oriana Labaqui have competed in more dual matches over that time frame.
