What to look for this year: men's and women's soccer

Men's Soccer

Sophomore goalkeeper Stathis Paplomatos has five games in goal under his belt, which is currently tenth all-time. However, Anton Viden, who last played in 2017, is in seventh with 12 appearances and Henrik Timgren's 20 appearances is fifth-most. 

If Paplomatos appears in all seventeen games, he will have the new fifth-best mark with 22 appearances in goal. 

There's also the fact that Paplomatos can move up the career wins list- he's currently tenth with two wins with Timgren's eight wins currently sixth all-time. 

Women's Soccer

I mentioned in a previous post that junior goalie McKenna Peaster can move up the goalie appearances list, but she can also move up the career wins list- this is how things currently stand:

1st Place: Pien Van Kampen/Nicole Medeiros (15)

2nd Place: Arielle Charles (10)

3rd Place: Taylor Erickson/Kelsey Cunningham (9)

4th Place: McKenna Peaster (6)

5th Place: Kylie Mason (3)
