Women's Basketball Updates: Part One

Senior Trinity Edwards joined the 1500-minutes club as she now has 1,540. 
Her appearance yesterday was the fifth-fifth of her career. 
She had 119 defensive rebounds this season after 90 last season. 

Junior JaMari Frederick now has 576 points, which is thirteenth-most in school history. Twelfth on the list is Kalen Surles with 579. 
Her 113 assists is the new thirteenth-best mark, moving past Bria Clemmons (twelfth is Shaquaya Daniels with 118). 
She surpassed 1700 minutes and now has 1,728 for her career.
She set two milestones this year with her first 30-game season and her first 300-point season for the Mountain Lions, and she added a third with her fiftieth career start. 

Sophomore Lily Griffith improved significantly in effectively all categories in her second season:
23 starts this year after 17 as a freshman.
876 minutes at 30 per game this year after 590 at 20 per game as a freshman. 
129 defensive rebounds this year after 47 as a freshman.   
50 assists this year after 30 as a freshman. 
22 steals this year after 8 as a freshman.
117 points this year after 69 as a freshman.
